On 16 April 2026, the Aberdeen Institute of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence held a donation and corporate mentor appointment ceremony with Foshan Yingtu Technology Co., Ltd. Institute leaders, faculty, enterprise representatives and student attendees took part in the event.

Speeches were delivered by both sides to recognise the value of university-enterprise collaboration for talent training and industry-education-research integration. The on-site donation and mentor appointment were completed successfully. After the ceremony, a drone football demonstration showcased innovative scientific and sporting achievements. The institute also launched the 2026 college innovation and entrepreneurship project review, further improving its practical education system and supporting students’ scientific and creative development.
